Consumer credit providers required to sign up for Positive credit register by 30 November 2023

The Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) would like to remind that registration for the Positive credit register maintained by the Finnish Tax Administration’s Incomes Register Unit closes on 30 November 2023.

The registration concerns entities supervised by the FIN-FSA as well as other credit providers and intermediaries granting consumer credit or comparable credits, or whose credit stock includes such credits.

The FIN-FSA monitors compliance with the registration and reporting obligation. The reporting obligation is laid down in section 16 of the Act on the Positive Credit Register (739/2022), and the credits to be reported are specified in section 6.
