Thematic reviews

A thematic review is a supervisory activity that simultaneously reviews several supervision targets on a selected theme using a survey and a request for material, or based on material available on the supervision targets. Based on the responses, a review of the operating practices of the supervised entities is prepared. The conclusions of the thematic review are generally published in a supervision release or press release. The findings of thematic reviews may lead to more detailed investigations or other supervisory actions.
