Supervision release 7 January 2021 – 1/2021

Sending confidential information to FIN-FSA as secure email

The Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) recommends that you use an email solution protected by a SecureMail connection when your email contains confidential information.

When sending email containing confidential information to the FIN-FSA, the use of a TLS connection alone is not recommended, since we cannot guarantee its uninterrupted operation in our incoming or outgoing email traffic.

You can send an email to the FIN-FSA protected by a SecureMail connection here. Type your email address and verification code into the form that opens from the link. Then you will receive a link to your email service, allowing you to send an email with a secure connection. The registration is valid for 90 days at a time.

Please note that you can only use the SecureMail connection to send email to the FIN-FSA. You will have to continue using other communications methods when dealing with other organisations, such as the ECB, according to previous agreement.
