Armi Taipale appointed member of ESMA’s Management Board for a second term

Armi Taipale, Head of Department, Capital Markets Supervision, Financial Supervisory Authority, has been appointed member of the Management Board of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) for a second term of 2.5 years, effective from of 1 January 2026. In addition, Taipale serves as a permanent member of ESMA’s Board of Supervisors.

ESMA is an independent Paris-based EU authority. Its mission is to enhance investor protection and promote stable and orderly financial markets. The Management Board, led by Chair Verena Rossi, is responsible for ensuring that ESMA carries out the tasks assigned to it.
