Method of submitting incident reports will change
The Financial Supervisory Authority’s Regulations and guidelines 8/2014: Management of operational risk in supervised entities of the financial sector, and Regulations and guidelines 6/2015: Commencement of operations and governance system of a life and non-life insurance company have been updated, and the changes will enter into effect on 1 January 2023.
The guidelines on the submission to the Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) of incident reports have been amended. As of 1 February 2023, incident reports will be submitted via the FIN-FSA’s e-services. Practical guidelines on the submission of the reports can be found on the FIN-FSA’s website.
Incident reports are processed automatically in the FIN-FSA, and it is therefore important to use the form template available on the FIN-FSA’s website to make reports in accordance with the guidelines.
