Search for standards, regulations and guidelines 

On this page, you can search for standards, regulations and guidelines in specific subject areas. Select first your area of interest:

  • Standards, guidelines and regulations applicable to the financial sector.
  • Regulations and guidelines applicable to the insurance sector.

Financial sector:

  • Select the target group in the drop-down menu and then specify your search criteria in the second drop-down menu.
  • Select whether you wish to view only standards, guidelines and regulations applicable to the previously selected target group or also relevant recommendations.*
  • If applicable, select the subject area of standards, regulations and guidelines.
  • You can also enter the number of a regulation as a search criterion.

* In the search results, binding standards are marked ‘applicable’. Depending on the target group selected, search results may also show standards marked ‘recommendation’. Such standards are also recommended by the FIN-FSA as applicable to supervisied entities other than those specified in the scope of application of the standard.

Insurance sector:

  • Select the target group in the drop-down menu.
  • You can also enter the number of a regulation as a search criterion.

Click ’Search’.
