FIN-FSA regulations and guidelines

The set of FIN-FSA regulations and guidelines includes both legally binding regulations and recommendatory guidelines issued by FIN-FSA. The set of regulations and guidelines has so far three parts: new set of FIN-FSA regulations and guidelines, set of regulations and guidelines for the financial sector and set of regulations and guidelines for the insurance sector.

FIN-FSA will gradually adopt the new set of FIN-FSA regulations and guidelines, which will replace the current sets of regulations and guidelines for the financial and insurance sectors. It will be divided into specific subject areas common to the financial sectors.

The set of regulations and guidelines for the financial sector consists of the standards, regulations and guidelines issued by the former Financial Supervision Authority. A standard is a collection of subject-specific regulations and guidelines. The set of regulations and guidelines for the financial sector also incorporates standards issued by FIN-FSA for the provision of payment services.

The set of regulations and guidelines for the insurance sector consists of the regulations and guidelines issued by the former Insurance Supervisory Authority. These regulations and guidelines are designed for different target groups.

Please note that all translations of FIN-FSA regulations and guidelines are unofficial. Please note also that not all FIN-FSA regulations and guidelines have been translated into English.
